I love photographing kids when they don't know I'm there. Melanie at the Boulder Library is the bomb at reading stories to kids, she had them in the palm of her hand.

Laura and Jason have known each other a long time, as their family reminded us during their toasts. Jason's brother began with quoting the president in office when Laura and Jason first met: "Four score and seven years ago our fathers brought forth on this continent a new nation..."
It was a beautiful day in every way at Hudson Gardens, a great place to celebrate their marriage.

Juno has arrived!

Dear friends Steph and Fish are mom and dad now, and they have a sweet girl named Juno (love it!) I brought my Rolleiflex old school camera over to take some photos last week.

Lori and Jake have great friends. And talented friends, they sang "For You" as Lori walked up the isle with her father to Jake, who had the Berkeley hills to his back reflecting the late golden sun.

Evening Bike Ride

So I'm inspired by the book A Year of Mornings, and set out with my camera in my bike basket this evening. I hope it inspires you to get creative. Just take two unrelated photos that have similar design elements and put them together. It's addictive.
